Local Area Coordination Football Tournament

Before COVID, Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s Local Area Coordination (LAC) Learning Disability ran fun-filled five-a-side football tournaments twice a year, in partnership with Glasgow Life, at the Nethercraigs facility.

Partnership Matters - July/August 2023

Our July/August edition features a message from our Chief Officer, Susanne Millar; you can read about our HSCP’s new £72 million Parkhead Health and Care Hub, whose construction is well under way; our ‘Circles of Support’ project is featured, and we celebrate our HSCP Glasgow City Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service’s Crisis Outreach Service which was the winner of the Nursing Team of the Year Award, and Linda Doonan, Nurse Team Leader who was a finalist for Mental Health Nurse of the Year. Also featured are our our day care centres for older people, which are helping to relieve loneliness and enable people to live more independently in their communities. Finally, included in this edition are links to lots of other news, along with dates of key meetings and events.
